To celebrate 125 years since the Suffragists’ historic victory we are calling on young women in Year 13 (in Auckland and Northland region) to share their views on what this movement means to them.
This Study Award carries on a tradition started by Bay of Plenty Polytechnic in 1993. The 2018 study award is offered to a female student who has enrolled to study a Toi Ohomai course in 2019.

The Suffrage 125 celebration is being led by the Ministry for Women, New Zealand Minitatanga mō ngā Wahine in partnership with Manatū Taonga Ministry for Culture and Heritage.
