Art, photography and political cartoons from The New Zealand Graphic and Ladies' Journal circa 1890’s. Urban Art presents a unique exhibition from one of the last remaining sets of the publication. 

What would you do if you found Kate Sheppard in your bed? This irreverent comedy is about what happens when two young women come face-to-face with five trailblazing wāhine from Aotearoa's history.

In celebration of Suffrage 125, Rialto Channel presents the documentary collection 'Inspirational Women'. A new documentary will have its NZ TV premiere every Wednesday night at 8.30pm in September.

As a celebration of women, this event features the stories of 11 Taranaki women – from Taranaki’s early history to the present – alongside personal stories in response from women in our community.

Starting in 1893 with Kate Sheppard, our Suffrage Mosaic will travel through time with 32 women in period costume. Women in the community are invited to add their own piece to this historic artwork.
