An exhibition and publication examining the story of suffrage in Dunedin and tracking the subsequent history of feminism in this city from 1893 to today using an intersectional feminist framework.

A group exhibition celebrating 125 years of Women's Suffrage in New Zealand. We have invited artists from around New Zealand to respond to and interpret this wonderful subject in their work. 

This exhibition traces the journey of a group of West Auckland Maori, Pasifika and Congalese women. The exhibition utilizes photographic and video forms to present the journey of the women involved.

The town of Katikati is excited to be holding a Suffrage 125 Commemoration day. Events begin with a march through town in period costume where we will meet Helen Clark who is our guest speaker.
