An exhibition showcasing early New Zealand women writers and other creative women to complement the story of the women's suffrage movement

NZSG Hamilton members share biographies and photos of their family who signed petitions or appear on the 1893 electoral roll. The meeting will be suffrage themed and stories will be shared over morning tea.

We’ll be celebrating Suffrage 125 and the significant contribution women have made to Parliament, culminating in an event for people of all ages on Saturday, 22 September.

As part of Suffrage week celebrations the Tauranga Business Womens Network are holding a lunchtime panel discussion with 3 local women who are working in traditionally male dominated industries.
