The second Women in Public Sector Summit for 2017 was held in Auckland at SkyCity on Thursday, 2 November 2017. The theme for this Summit was 'Auckland Leadership Pathways'  recognising and honouring Auckland's diversity and exploring how the intersectionality of gender and other diversity dimensions’ impacted on women leaders in Auckland.

The Auckland Summit was an opportunity to bring women in the public sector together to provide professional development and networking that: 

  • Inspired women for a full career regardless of sector
  • Acknowledged that the Auckland public sector values them
  • Promoted diversity and inclusion across the public sector
  • Connected them to the public sector communities across Auckland
