This is the results of the 2019 stocktake of gender, Maōri, and ethnic diversity of state sector boards and committees, undertaken annually by Manatū Wāhine Ministry for Women. This year, we have reached 49% women’s representation on state sector boards and committees – an all-time high! For the first time Māori representation, and that of different ethnicities has been counted.
