My Board Strengths tool no longer available

From 23 June 2022, the My Board Strengths tool is no longer available to use. This means existing users can no longer access their accounts or reports and no new accounts can be created.  

My Board Strengths was developed in 2011 to support people on their governance journey but the tool is now not suited to the latest technology platforms. The Ministry has a dedicated Nominations Service team available to support women into governance positions, and they work closely with several government agencies that appoint to boards across a range of sectors by providing candidates for board vacancies matched to specified skills, backgrounds, and levels of experience.

If you are interested in furthering your governance career within the public sector, you can sign-up for the Nominations database. The Nominations Service team use the information you provide to nominate you for suitable positions as they become available. You can use the journey to appointment pathway to learn about the steps along the way.
