We have developed the Journey to Appointment tool to help those interested in a role on a public sector board or committee learn more about the appointment pathway.

The 12 steps cover from the beginning of the journey of being interested in a board role, through the nominations and Cabinet approvals process, to the confirmation of appointment.

It also has helpful tips along the way on finding training and professional development and getting support from Nominations Services.

Note: we are currently experiencing issues with being able to browse the Journey to Appointment tool on mobile phones. To view the tool, please use your desktop computer.
