Manatū Wāhine, alongside Te Puni Kōkiri, Ministry for Pacific Peoples, Whaikaha - Ministry of Disabled People, and Ministry for Ethnic Communities will be running a webinar about the portfolio of Crown boards and Committees that the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) administer.
MBIE has a focus on growing New Zealand for all. As such, the Appointments Team is responsible for managing a wide range of appointments for Crown entities, statutory bodies and advisory boards on behalf of a number of responsible ministers. You can see a list of them here (https://www.mbie.govt.nz/about/who-we-are/crown-entities-statutory-and-non-statutory-boards/).
At this session you will hear from Becky Gill and Paul Metcalf. They will tell you more about the appointments process, the different boards and committees, and the skills and experiences that they are particularly seeking for their boards/committees. There will also be some time for a few questions and answers.
